Legacy Power supports our OEM Equipment Suppliers warranty and maintenance programs . LPSA offers service and spares packages in accordance and support of our OEM Partners in Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia, Tanzania, Botswana, Malawi, Nigeria and Kenya.
From design, manufacture, testing, shipping and site installation, through to your service and maintenance requirements, we are in a position to provide original replacement components and will assist you in the purchase, use, and the maintenance of your site energy and electrical equipment for extended generator life.

General Service Intervals
The following visit frequency schedules constitute our standard maintenance options which include a variety of services and maintenance plans to ensure that the equipment is functioning optimally. These are also based on hours of duty, fuel quality and in accordance with the OEM Engine warranty specifications.
Standard operating hours service options: |
Generally every 3 – 6 months or between 250 – 500 hours of operation, whichever comes first. |
High operating usage service options: |
Monthly or Bi-monthly based on Monthly hours exceeding 500 hours of operation. |
Continual Operations ( > 60% daily): |
Provision of site-based Asset Care Services on a day-to-day basis. |
Asset Care Service Level Agreements
We have specific Asset Care Service Level Agreements that offer a comprehensive set of tailor-made Service and Maintenance options for our clients standby power equipment including:
- Standard SLA (Service Level Agreements) contracts are available for ensuring the optimal performance and life cycle of the equipment.
- Our Technical team will schedule dates directly after commissioning to visit your site and conclude the agreed scope of works to be provided for.
- These can include monthly inspections, diesel usage monitoring, servicing and refueling and mechanical servicing as specified by OEM service intervals.
